Brady Keith Collier Sanctioned by Texas State Securities Board
In December 2023, Brady K. Collier entered into a Consent Order with the Texas State Securities Board (TSSB).
The Consent Order found the following:
- Collier applied for registration with the Texas Securities Commisioner as a dealer as required by Section 4004.051 of the Texas Securities Act, which requires a “finder” to registerin connection with receiving compensation solely for introducing an accredited investor to a company issuing securities and/or introducing an issuer to accredited investors.
- While not registered as a dealer, Collier received $1.5 million in compensation from about 34 issuers for acting as a ‘dealer”.
- Collier acted as a “dealer” for around the last ten years while not registered in violation of Section 4004.051 of the Texas Securities Act.
- This violation constitutes a bass for the assessment of an administrative fine, pursuant to Section 4007.106(a)(3) of the Texas Securities Act
- Collier was reprimanded, ordered to pay an administrative fine of $25,000 and his current application for registration was approved.
