How FINRA Arbitration Works

Most retail investors’ disputes with brokers are resolved through FINRA arbitration, a private forum where you can seek to recover losses for unsuitable recommendations, misrepresentations/omissions, unauthorized trading, or other misconduct. Claim filing deadlines (statutes of limitation/eligibility) can be short, so prompt evaluation is important.
