In 12/2024 a customer of Concorde Investment Services claimed that Woods made an unsuitable recommendation to invest in a REIT (real estate investment trust). Damages of $750,000 are sought in this currently pending matter.

In October 2022, a customer of Concorde Investment Services was paid $27,600 to settle a FINRA arbitration alleging that recommendations made by Joel Woods to invest in direct investments and limited partnerships were unsuitable.

In April 2013, a customer of Concorde Investment Services was paid $155,000 to settle a FINRA arbitration alleging that Joel Woods made unsuitable investment recommendations to purchase private placements, direct investments and limited partnerships.

Two customers of prior employer EDI Financial brought claims that were denied by the brokerage firm and apparently the customers did not engage the services of a securities attorney or otherwise pursue the matters.
