Cabot Investment Properties Execs Face Criminal Charges

Carlton Cabot, 52, of Stamford, Connecticut and Timothy Kroll, 42, of New Hope, Pennsylvania, were named in a criminal complaint accusing them of of misappropriating funds from Cabot Investment Properties, the company they formerly headed, according to the Courthouse News Service.

According to the release, Cabot and Kroll used investor’s money as their personal piggy bank , using millions to finance children’s college tuition, purchase luxury cars and apartments in Manhattan and Florida. They face charges of securities fraud, wire fraud and money laundering.

Cabot Investment Properties sold various TIC (Tenant in Common) properties through various broker dealers nationwide. Those investments included:
