The FINRA records of Joel E. Archer , a stock broker who is currently employed by Summit Brokerage Services , disclose a pending customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In the pending complaint received June 2016, a customer alleges damages of $200,000 for unsuitable recommendations and excessive trading in stock, bond funds, and real estate investment trusts (REITs) between 2/2012-5/2015.
Archer has been employed by Summit Brokerage Services since 2/2010.
