Did You Lose Money With John Larsen As Your Stockbroker?

A customer of Raymond James filed a dispute in March 2025, alleging that Mr. Larsen executed trades that were not in line with the client’s risk tolerance and were placed without the client’s knowledge. The alleged misconduct occurred between December 1, 2023, and March 21, 2025, and involved listed equities. The claimant is seeking $3,000,000 in damages. This matter is currently pending.

The investments in question reportedly involved equity securities and were allegedly executed without proper client authorization or suitability assessment, a potential violation of FINRA Rule 2111 (Suitability) and FINRA Rule 2010 (Standards of Commercial Honor and Principles of Trade), which require brokers to act in the best interest of their clients and to ensure investments are appropriate for the client’s profile.

In 2013 Larsen was discharged by Edward Jones who alleged that obtained firm documents signed in blank and moved funds without prior  authorization between firm accounts owned by joint tenants and for violating firm policy by introducing firm clients to one another regarding starting a company.

Allegations of Broker Misconduct Against John Larsen
