Derick Strickland Investigation
September 2022- Houston, TX
The FINRA records of Derick Montrele Strickland , a former broker with Allstate Financial Services, disclose a recent bar from the securities industry.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
FINRA sent a request to Strickland in May of 2022, seeking information related to a regulatory investigation. According to FINRA, Strickland received a 3 month suspension as a result of failing to respond to the request. Strickland failed to request a termination of his suspension within three months of the Notice of Suspension; therefore he was subsequently barred from FINRA in all capacities.
Derick Strickland was employed by Allstate Financial Services in Houston from 10/2018 to 12/2021.
