The FBI announced that former Merrill Lynch broker Bruce E. Hammonds, 50, of San Antonio and Boerne, Texas, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for securities fraud.
He was also ordered to forfeit funds in his Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo accounts and to pay restitution of over $1.1 million to the victims for defrauding them from 2006-2008 in a Ponzi scheme.
