Greg Hanshew Investigation

July 2022- Littleton, CO

The FINRA records of  Greg Scott Hanshew,   a  stockbroker previously employed by  Infinity Financial Services  disclose a regulatory event and a termination.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In September 2021, FINRA alleged that Hanshew had failed to respond to FINRA request for information in connection with a FINRA investigation into concerns that he was commiting sales practice violations with elderly clients, that he failed to disclose outside business activities and had undisclosed judgments and liens.

In May 2016 Hanshew was permitted to resign from his employment with Infinity Financial Services after allegations that he had photo copies of client records and no originals at the branch.   He had been with the since January 2017.

Before that time he was with CIM Securities, Hanson McClain Securities, Valic Financial Advisors, Inc. and First Financial Equity Corporation.
