Juan Carlos Fiorito Investigation

According to publicly available records Juan Carlos Fiorito, a broker who is currently not registered, was previously with Insigneo Services, InSight Securities and Northeast Securities, discloses a prior customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In February of 2017, a Northeast Securities customer alleged that Fiorito excessively traded their account in U.S. Government securities from 11/2012-4/2015. The case settled in 11/2017 for $200,000, of which $50,694 was paid by Fiorito individually.
Fiorito was employed by Insigneo Securities from July 2017 until January 2018. He was unemployed rom 2/2018-8/2019, and then joined InSight Securities in 9/2019. Earlier in his career he was with Northeast Securities from March 2016- until July 2017.
