According to publicly available records Luis Paredes Calvo, Insigneo Services (aka Citi International Financial Services) broker, discloses a pending $5 million customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In June of 2021, a Citi International Financial Services customer filed FINRA case 21-01293, alleging that Calvo mishandled and over-concentrated their account causing significant losses of capital and damages in excess of $5 million. The customer is requesting an award for damages, rescission, punitive damages, interest, costs, attorney’s fees and such other and further relief the arbitration panel deems just and proper in this currently pending matter.
Calvo has been employed by Insigneo Securities/ Citi International Financial Services since February of 2011.
