The U.S. Department of Justice announced that Stanley Jonathan Fortenberry, 50, of San Angelo, TX, pleaded guilty to fraud and obstruction of justice charges in connection with two investment companies he ran causing his victim losses of $900,000.
Fortenberry admitted running two companies Premier Investment Fund and Wattenberg Energy Partners that fraudulently obtained funds from money from investors.
Two others, Peter Szondy, 70, and Stanley S. Fortenberry, 24, also pleaded guilty to committing fraud.
