The FINRA records of  J. Paul Brian Prasifka,  a  stockbroker currently  employed by Gradient Securities disclose a recent sanction by Texas securities Regulators.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In April of 2023, the Texas State Securities Board issued a letter of reprimand to Prasifka and fined him $5,000 failing to report to the Securities Commissioner a felony charge within 30 days in violation of Texas Board Rules.

Prasifka was employed by Rhodes Securities from 5/2013-12/2022. He recently moved to Gradient Securities in 12/2022.
