According to publicly available records Edmund “Eddie” P. Murphy,  a broker previously registered with Robert W. Baird & Co., discloses a final customer dispute and a pending customer dispute. 

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.

In October of 2021, a Robert W. Baird & Co. client alleged unsuitable investments that led to losses in her trust account.    The alleged damages are between $100,000 and $300,000 and the case is still pending.

In December of 2002,  a Robert W. Baird & Co. client alleged poor performance of margin account and unsuitable recommendations.   The case settled for $50,000 with $10,000 paid by Murphy individually.

Murphy had been with Robert W. Baird & Co. from October of 1999 to September of 2021. He is not currently registered with any FINRA broker dealer but discloses a business affiliation with Cardinal Sign Advisory in Naples, FL, beginning 8/2021.
