The FINRA records of Rick J. Sande , a stock broker who is currently employed by Aegis Capital , disclose a pending customer dispute and a prior final customer dispute.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In the pending FINRA Case#16-0470 , a customer of Aegis Capital alleges damages of $80,000 for breach of fiduciary duty,churning and unsuitable trading from January 2012-May 2013.
In an earlier dispute, FINRA Case#9-4934, a customer of GunnAllen Financial alleged damages of $375,000 for churning, unsuitable trades and unauthorized trading. That case was settled for $71,125.
Sande has been employed by Aegis Capital since 2/2010. Prior to that he was employed by GunnAllen Financial.
