The FINRA records of Peyton N. Jackson, a stockbroker who is not currently registered and who was last employed by Alexander Capital, LP. disclose a recent regulatory matter that is final, 7 currently pending customer disputes and 5 prior customer disputes that are final.
The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the agency that licenses and regulates stockbrokers and brokerage firms. FINRA requires brokers and brokerage firms to report customer complaints and disputes as well as regulatory sanctions. In addition brokers are required to disclose certain financial matters such as personal bankruptcies, judgments and liens.
In April 2016, FINRA suspended Jackson for six months and fined him $20,000 to resolve allegations that he violated firm and industry rules by failing to disclose certain outside business activities and other prohibited activities.
The currently pending customer disputes include:
- FINRA Case 16-1327-a customer alleges damages of $90,000 for unsuitable recommendations, misrepresentations, omission of facts and churning.
- FINRA Case 16-0183-a customer alleges damages of $200,000 for unsuitability, negligent representation, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.
- FINRA Case 15-03246-a customer alleges damages of $400,000 for unsuitability, churning, fraud, and other claims.
- FINRA Case 15-02971-a customer alleges damages of $700,000 for unsuitability, negligent misrepresentation, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty.
Jackson was employed by Alexander Capital 12/2012-4/2015. Prior to that he was employed by Legend Securities and before that Dawson James Securities.
